Next-generation live-cell microscopy - light sheet, quantitative phase, structured illumination

World-leading developers of advanced next-generation live-cell microscopy techniques assemble in Tromsø to deliver lectures on bio-imaging application, implementation details, and underlying fundamental concepts.

This is a unique opportunity for young researchers in Norway and Europe to get early orientation and access to cutting-edge modern live cell imaging, build new collaborations, and expand their network.

Modern advanced microscope systems are often beyond the financial and operational scope of individual institutions. Firm contacts with core facilities and microscopy hubs can overcome these obstacles. Participants present their work (poster and flash talk), discuss science with experts, facility managers and young researchers, and maybe plan the next groundbreaking experiments.

More information and registration

Students can apply to earn 2 ECTS. Travel and accommodation is covered for DLN members. Access to locally available advanced microscopes may be arranged on an individual basis by prior communication and arrangement.
