March newsletter 2022
After two years of extensive study and planning, Digital Life Norway is launching a new phase for supporting innovation in digital biotechnology! Working together with partners in multiple sectors, DLN will coordinate with individual projects to test out new ideas “with the aim to help the transition of academic ideas into products, ideas, services, solutions, which make an impact in society," says UiO Professor Arnoldo Frigessi, member of DLN’s Expert Task Force. “This will also help to build new enthusiasm for innovation in academia." In the coming months, the DLN team will be reaching out to specific projects to invite participation in pilot projects to stimulate innovation in digital biotechnology.
We are also delighted to announce the winner of DLN’s first-ever FAIR data prize and the winner of DLN's RRI-inspired transdisciplinary side quest call. And there’s still time to apply for the 2022 DLN PhD Industry Internship program, and we have a vacancy for new RRI senior advisor to join our team. More details in the newsletter!
