News from Centre for Digital Life Norway! – message from the centre leaders
Dear all!
The Annual DLN conference and the Annual Meeting of the DLN Research School represents the two most important events for our centre.
For the first time we chose to join these events this year, and the DLN Conference 2023 venue was held at beautiful Solstrand outside Bergen 6-8. September. Based on feedback from participants this was a success; the conference included excellent Keynote speakers, workshops, panel discussions, a public Young Researchers Night, poster session (including awards!), as well as ample time for mingling and networking. You can read more in our Digital Life 2023 Recap in this newsletter.
Our PhD internship candidates are now gradually moving out to their host industries and we hope for successful outcomes for our candidates with respect to learning, new experiences and connections for all of them.
Looking ahead, DLN has an active fall ahead with courses and seminars including on Microscopy Image Processing and Quality Management Systems. We also have open calls for becoming new DLN partner projects and proposals of new courses for the Research school. The deadline for applying to be a member of the DLN Junior Research School passed this week; we received many applications demonstrating a high interest to be part of this important body of the DLN organisation.
