April Newsletter 2022

Keeping with DLN tradition, our 2021 DLN annual report has just been published, highlighting results, events and achievements in the Centre during 2021. As last year the report is constructed as an illustrative and easily readable electronic version. This should make it valuable reading for a broad audience, and together the annual reports represent our DLN history.

One of the finest DLN traditions is to integrate new digital biotechnology research projects into the centre. In the first three years, these were arranged by the Research Council of Norway as contract meetings. More recently, we, the Centre, have arranged local onboarding meetings where researchers with new projects physically meet with established DLN projects and the operational management team, to efficiently meet and exchange knowledge across the centre. In recent weeks, we had such onboarding meetings in Tromsø and Trondheim, and look forward to welcoming new projects soon in Oslo. Today our centre has over 40 DLN projects.

Finally, we are busy gathering ideas and organizing our upcoming annual conference Digital Life 2022, which will be arranged in Trondheim 20-21. October 2022: save the dates!
