The Faculty of Medicine is looking for a team player to fill the available coordinator position in Center for Digital Life Norway's innovation work group.
The coordinator is expected to take an active role together with the present coordinator in developing the Center and research-driven biotechnology innovation in Norway. This is a challenging position with both strategic and operational responsibilities.
The coordinator will work closely with the work group leader, the other Center coordinators and the Center leadership as a whole. Helping promote innovation and business development in Digital Life research projects are among the key responsibilites for this position. The coordinator will be a visible player within life-science innovation domestically and internationally.
Applicants should have a Master's degree or equivalent, preferrably within life sciences or biotechnology. Experience as a researcher will be advantageous. Experience with business development and innovation will also be a plus.
Applicants must be proficient in both Norwegian and English.
This position is externally financed and be part of the Faculty of Medicine administration at the University of Oslo. Professor Arnoldo Frigessi is the Center for Digital Life Norway innovation work group leader and will supervise the coordinator.
