Summer science story: Cod researchers with ambitious plans for developing a biosensor for environmental monitoring

dCod 1.0 – decoding the systems toxicology of Atlantic cod – at the University of Bergen is one of the first-generation Digital Life Norway projects. The project is coming to an end, but the activity is still high. With recent funding from the Research Council of Norway for the qualification project dCod Pollution Sensing Kit, project leader Anders Goksøyr will explore one of the innovative ideas emerging from the research project combining knowledge on how environmental pollution affects the cod and lab-on-a-chip technology.
