Centre for Digital Life Norway – message from the centre leaders

Dear all!

Summer vacations are over for most of us, and at the universities we are eager to begin a normal semester with the students fully back on campus.

Join Digital Life Norway (DLN) at Arendalsuka this week - in person or streaming - for a panel discussion on innovation from biotechnology research, based on our ongoing Roadmap to Innovation project.

At the start of September, we will co-host a joint policy forum in Oslo with AFINO and the Research Council of Norway to promote closer collaboration on responsible research and innovation. Simultaneously, AFINO and DLN will host a joint summer school on “Engaging in critical research within the institutions.”
The “DLN transdisciplinary life science” course will be held for the 2nd time this semester with several DLN projects onboard.

We're also excited to host the "Modelling living systems" course again, led by professor Dominique Chu (Uni. Kent). These are highly recommended courses for any PhD and postdoc in biotechnology. See our website for details and registration.

We look forward to new opportunities for collaborating across our Digital Life community this fall.

& Kam Sripada, Centre manager
