News from Centre for Digital Life Norway! – Message from the centre leaders
Hello everyone,
We visited the Norwegian Research Council in mid-January and experienced a lot of enthusiasm and interest, with a special focus on DLN's innovation work. We are now even more aware of the importance of learning and experimentation in these last two years of Digital Life Norway, where translation towards innovation has been a top priority through the Innovation Roadmap project. We were happy to see that these learnings and experiments are timely and in high demand also among our funders. Developing the work in DLN and the Innovation Roadmap project, we are therefore issuing an open call for new project members to DLN 2.0 which will gain access to the support of our competence areas, including innovation.
Documenting and telling a story of what we have learned in this project and in DLN in general will be an important task for us in the years to come. In any story, the ending often defines what people think of it. We have done considerable experimenting, succeeding, and failing which has resulted in excellent experiences! The work continues for two more years and should also be communicated. Therefore it is good that we finally have a new communications advisor on board. We would also like to direct your attention to the upcoming deadline for this year's industry internship, deadline tomorrow, and remind you again to save the date for our conference together October 14-15 (and 14-16 for our research school.)
