In April 2024, Calum Leitch (CCBIO) and Sofie Søderstrøm (Marma-detox) hosted a DLN cross-disciplinary supported workshop on iPSC research. The event brought together 12 researchers to discuss iPSC induction, culturing, and characterization. CCBIO focuses on blood cell-derived iPSCs for immunotherapy, while Marma-detox explores fibroblast-derived iPSCs for marine mammal toxicology. The workshop provided a unique chance for hands-on learning, insights/protocol sharing, and networking at Mount Ulriken.
